As you already should know, South Africa boasts one of the most exciting tourist destinations in the world. From the breath taking views of Table Mountain in Cape Town, to the wonderous Amphitheatre cliffs in Drakensburg, or witnessing the Big 5 at the Kruger National Park, to feasting your eyes on the magical Blyde River Canyons in Mpumalanga, one will be spoiled for choice in engaging with the natural wonders that South Africa has to offer.


The Covid-19 epidemic has allowed for establishments to redefine themselves in adherence to safety precautions. South Africa has had one of the toughest restrictions in the world, and is more than ready for international visitors.

You would need to provide with:

  1. email Covid19BusinessTravel@dha.gov.za along with :
  2. a copy of passport and/or temporary residence visa;
  3. proof of business activities to be undertaken in the Republic;
  4. proof of travel itinerary; and
  5. proof of address or accommodation in the Republic.

All travelers must provide with Covid-19 results of no longer than 72 hours from the time of departure from their country, or be subjected to a minimum 10 days of quarantine


As per WHO regulations, every visitor will be screened for possible Covid-19 symptoms, and will be subjected to a quarantine site if tested positive. Also provide proof of residence of a verifiable quarantine facility, otherwise the government shall provide a facility for you.


Conclusion:


As stated above, South Africa is ready and open for leisure and business. If anything has been learned from the Covid-19 pandemic, is that life is precious and you must live it to the full (safely so).
